Celebrating people, performance and innovation: The Lux Collective hosts its first-ever Excellence Awards

The Lux Collective (TLC) marked a major milestone recently with the successful hosting of the inaugural TLC Excellence Awards 2025, held at Tamassa. The prestigious event brought together 200 participants, including senior leadership and team members from its regional properties.

Celebrating outstanding performance, creativity, courage, commitment and innovation across the Group in Mauritius, Reunion Island, the Maldives, Zanzibar and China, the awards recognised excellence in 34 categories under four key pillars: Business Performance, Guest Experience, People & Culture Excellence and Brand & Reputation Leadership.

The evening’s three highest honours, namely the Hotel of the Year Award, CEO’s Award, and Chairman’s Award, highlighted exceptional achievements that set new benchmarks for quality, leadership and service culture within the organisation.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chief Executive Officer of The Lux Collective, Olivier Chavy said, “I am incredibly proud of our team’s collective accomplishments. Hotel of the Year - LUX* South Ari Atoll:
