LUX* hotels make a lasting impression on their guests. This is showcased by the latest rankings of TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice Awards 2018 reviews.
Indeed, in the Top 10 hotels in Mauritius, the group's establishments, notably LUX* Belle Mare, LUX* Le Morne and LUX* Grand Gaube sit on the 2nd, 4th and 5th places. The site allows travelers every year to note the hotels they visited. At the end of the year, the LUX* group stands out in the “Luxury Hotels” category, as well as for the quality of the service, as per the TripAdvisor website. For the Maldives, LUX* South Ari Atoll wins 3rd place in the Top 10 luxury hotels in that destination.

The group's hotels, located in Mauritius, stand out among the top 25 hotels on the continent African. In this ranking, LUX* Belle Mare, LUX* Le Morne and LUX* Grand Gaube take the 3rd, 7th and 9th places respectively. In addition to establishments in Mauritius, LUX* South Ari Atoll Hotel ranks as the 5 th best establishment in the Maldives in terms of quality of service. This establishment, as well as the LUX* Lijiang Tea Horse Road in China, received the 2017 Certificate of Excellence for positive comments of their visitors.

On Friday 25 January, more than 120 hotel representatives and entrepreneurs have gathered at LUX* Le Morne to attend the “Zero Food Waste Forum”, which is dedicated to hotels in Mauritius. LUX* records increase in turnover and operating profits
LUX* is keeping the momentum, as witnessed by the increase in its operating profits for the quarter ended December 31, which rose by 7% from Rs420 million to reach Rs452 million. For the second half of 2017, the operating profits increased by 11%, to Rs427 million. Total turnover for the quarter in review was Rs1.8 billion, an increase of 6% compared to the corresponding quarter in 2016. The EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation) reached Rs583 million, indicating an increase of 9% over the quarter in review. During the second half of 2017, the group’s turnover increased by 11%, reaching Rs2.8 billion, while the EBITDA gained 12% to Rs683 million.
