Being housebound for months have undoubtedly given us a fresh perspective on how we live and a greater appreciation for what we have. LUX* Resorts & Hotels will join Mauritius in showing appreciation to our Healthcare Heroes for their care and support whilst working tirelessly round-the-clock during these challenging months with a two-night complimentary holiday in LUX* Belle Mare Resort & Villas, LUX* Grand Gaube Resort & Villas or LUX* Le Morne Resort.
To nominate the medical personnel who has made a difference in your life, all you need to do is to share your story with us on your own Facebook page with the hashtag #CollectivelyWeCare as well as a description of your nominee’s role and place of work.
The campaign will end on 3 June 2020. 15 posts with the most likes will win your nominated Healthcare Hero a gift card for a two-night stay on full board basis in one of the three resorts.
“We wanted to provide a platform to allow the public to express their appreciation towards these Healthcare Heroes who have sacrificed so much, as well as to thank them for their commitment and bravery in the best way we know how,” said Dominik Ruhl, Chief Operating Officer of The Lux Collective.
“It is now time for us to take care of our frontline medical professionals by giving them a welldeserved, pampering break,” Dominik added.
Additionally, LUX* Resorts & Hotels will honour these 15 Healthcare Heroes by planting a tree in Ebony Forest on World Environment Day (5 June) in each of their names to serve as permanent reminders of their service rendered during this unprecedented time.

On Friday 25 January, more than 120 hotel representatives and entrepreneurs have gathered at LUX* Le Morne to attend the “Zero Food Waste Forum”, which is dedicated to hotels in Mauritius.
