LUX<bdi>*</bdi> Grand Gaube Resort <bdi>&</bdi> Villas Launches All-Inclusive Experiences to Celebrate the Reopening of Mauritius from 15 July 2021

The sandy white beaches and sparkling emerald-green waters of Mauritius will welcome vaccinated guests to enjoy in-resort holidays on the island starting from 15 July 2021. Whether it is a romantic rendezvous, family bonding or a getaway with friends, LUX* Grand Gaube Resort & Villas provides the perfect immersive Collectable Experiences to keep your party entertained.

Hug Me Honey

With 14 hectares of space, LUX* Grand Gaube Resort & Villas is home to over 240,000 honeybees. The bee apiary produces around 16 kilogrammes of honey annually and is used in the menus of the resort’s six restaurants and seven bars, as well as in treatments for LUX* Me Spa. Our resident honey expert will personally take guests on a guided tour of the eight hives. A private cooking or cocktail mixing class using locally-sourced ingredients can be arranged for aspiring chefs. A beekeeping kit will be provided for guests who are interested in trying their hand at building an urban bee apiary back home.

New Habits Wellness Routine

Being healthy comes down to good habits. Take this time off to start a new routine to experiment, relax, learn something new and heal. From learning how to cook a raw dessert to journaling and practising meditation daily, New Habits Wellness Routine will enable guests embrace slow living and also be given the tools to keep up the newfound routine long after the holiday ends.

Complete Exclusivity

Families or smaller groups may even opt for private villas or residences, ensuring the immediate group is kept secluded within a bubble.

Hassle-free, all-inclusive packages start from EUR453 for two persons nightly. Fully vaccinated guests will be able to enjoy facilities within the resort including the pool and the beach. A negative PCR test must be presented between five and seven days before departure to Mauritius. A PCR test will be conducted at the airport on arrival as well as on day seven and 14 during their resort holiday as applicable.

Phase two will start from 1 October 2021 and will allow vaccinated travellers to enter Mauritius without restrictions upon presentation of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours before departure.

Those seeking an off-grid paradise can enjoy a complimentary day trip to the idyllic private island, Ile Des Deux Cocos, for bookings confirmed before 30 September 2021. Guests staying between 1 October and 31 December 2021 can spend a day snorkelling in a protected marine reserve at Ile Des Deux Cocos, followed by a beach barbecue with freshly caught seafood. Sip on homemade infused rum cocktails and explore The Villa, the islet’s historical landmark once home to the British governor, Sir Kesketh Bell, built in the 1920s.
